I had always had a very artistic creative side, but it really wasn’t till 2009 when I had helped my cousin make a costume for a convention he was going to that I became interested in costume making. From there on I really wanted to start making costumes, I stumbled across a website called The Replica Prop Forum. After seeing prop replicas from all my favorite movies made by the members on the forum, I was bit by the prop bug and just had to focus myself on it. First thing I made was a helmet from the movie Iron Man and I soon came to realize I was really good at it! I decided I would build the entire suit from the first film.

After the suit was built it would need to be molded and light weight copies cast, but I did not have the time or money to get into that at the moment so I decided to continue with the Iron Man building. I had always wanted a sideshow toys 1:1 scale Iron Man MRK III bust. I got this crazy idea that I should build my own, so I did!  I wanted to build a bust that showed more of the MRK III armor than what the sideshow bust did.

Now it was time to take a break from Iron Man and get into a little sculpting of other favorites from my childhood. I decided to make Audrey 2 the man eating plant from Little Shop of Horrors (1986 version) I sculpted the medium closed mouth version, but there will also be a open mouth version as well.

I feel I have found a true passion in this hobby and will never quit, there are just too many things I want to make!
