From Cosplay to Film Credits

This panel is a look at one nerdy fan’s story, beginning with the prop build that started him down a path of cosplay and following him through the jungles of being self-taught and then eventually back to school and into a special effects program before ultimately becoming a professional puppet builder for film and television. The panel will touch on tips for how to break into the industry when starting as a fan, as well as practical tips on researching build techniques if you’re teaching yourself and don’t know what you don’t know!
