In Memory of David Porter

It’s a very sad day for the prop community. Our good friend David Porter sadly passed away in a motorcycle accident on Wednesday evening.

David was always thrilled to show off his “blinky lights”, pointing out all the cool things involved with his table of tricorders and PADDS. He also ran demos at many of our shows, sharing his knowledge of arduinos and other programming techniques and their use in prop projects. We were excited to see him again next week.

Friendly, smart, kind, and caring are just a few of the words used to describe this great man. He will be greatly missed and we express our sincerest condolences to his family.
